My name's Andrew Braithwaite. I'm a writer. I was born in the Queen Charlotte Islands and grew up on Vancouver Island. But eventually I figured out how boats and planes and bridges work and so that was pretty much enough of all that.

I write at the intersection of innovation and taste for print outlets in the U.S. and Canada. My e-book, An Inconvenient Fruit, is the true story of one winemaking family's struggle against the most ruthless killer that grapevines have ever encountered: a bug called phylloxera.

I live in San Francisco with my wife Sarah and our two terrible cats, Neko and TK.
